Before you start

Required system specs
Because Whisper + vision models run locally on CPU by default:

Hour-long podcasts on 8 GB + low-spec can work but will be slow; 16 GB + normal is the comfortable “important video” path (matches the tip: keep low-spec off for important videos).
API keys
AuditClip can use cloud providers for scoring and chat. Pick a key based on how you want to pay:
- Free use — Groq. Get an API key from groq.com. The free tier is generous and is the recommended path if you want to run without paid cloud spend.
- Gemini — paid key only. If you choose Google Gemini, use a paid API key. Do not rely on Gemini free-tier keys for production or longer jobs.
Install on Windows
- Download the installer. Use the button below to get the latest
.exefrom EmekaTech. - Run the file. Open the downloaded installer. If Windows shows a SmartScreen warning, follow the notice above (More info → Run anyway).
- Follow the prompts. Accept the defaults or pick an install folder, then finish the wizard.
- Launch the app. Open AuditClip from the Start menu and you are ready to go.
